the parent of two kiddos in elementary school.
Math has become a cluster, with a lot of added lessons that frankly don't need to be involved in teaching math.

my 4th grader, to multiply double digits, they use a box method where they draw 4 squares and then keep adding up numbers.
It takes a full page to write all of this down just for 1 problem.

Desantis went to Harvard and Yale. He's an educated elitist who is playing the "make libs cry" republican base in order to gain himself power and money. It's a one-way street. He doesn't care about the people of Florida (left or right), he just sees them as a way to pave the way for him to run for President and gain more power/wealth. I mean Trump was a Democrat when it served his purposes, and now he's the leader of the Republican Party? But Trumpers don't care because their myopic desire is just to "destroy the libs" even if that means harm comes to them. They're willing to sacrifice if it means seeing liberals cry.
