Why Chip Kelly met with Alabama

Nick Saban Confirms Chip Kelly’s Meeting With Alabama, Explains What It Was About

Chip Kelly visited with Alabama’s coaches in Tuscaloosa, Ala. earlier this week. The news of the former Philadelphia Eagles’ head coach meeting with Nick Saban and Co. was first reported by ESPN’s Brett McMurphy.

This morning, at media day for the College Football Playoff national title game, Saban confirmed the meeting.

Saban said Kelly’s a close friend and the meeting was of no real “significance” for the national title game.

For God's Sake, Saban. Nothing says something like a little bit of spread advice, huh?
