They aren't the same men. They aren't coaching in the era. The parity isn't the same. College football isn't the same.
They have both been great for Clemson. Fact! The end.

Read the boards. It's non stop and stupid. One won a NC. But so did lou hotlz who sucked at Carolina and
chizick at Auburn who's now a
Coordinator at UNC. While
Clemson winning one is great. That doesn't make him better by itself in my opinion. Both have do great things for Clemson. Why can't they both be awesome BC they are.

the other. I was a student in the 80's. Ford meant a lot to us. We've been waiting 20 years for someone to come along and give us the same feeling again. Dabo is the best coach for Clemson right now. There is no other coach that could do what he is doing for us.
I just don't see any debate. Anybody that loved coach Ford obviously will like Dabo too.

Danny's place in my heart and the hearts of all the senior Clemson people is as solid as Howard's Rock.
Dabo has found another space of just about equal size and is being defined as we go along. Would I trade Dabo for Danny? No, but there was a time that no one could have taken Danny's place.
They are not equal, they are not comparable and even a NC in Dabo's tenure will not change that.

Agreed 88. That's my point. It's like Bama fans comparing Bryant to Saban. (Forget the titles part). All have created
Memories. Both are great and deserve the love .
