It’s Time For Tough Love

Having to go into OT to beat a second tier program like Wake Forest in simply not acceptable….at any level. I scratched my head Saturday night wondering how Dabo can fix everything and, low and behold, the answer was in my screened in porch.
I’m dating a MILF and in between beers yesterday morning she told me that Dabo should do what I did. You see, MILF has a daughter that plays golf. I was hesitant to get serious with a woman with a kid, but girls who can hit bombs and drain putts get free college so I said YOLO.
I probably should have watched her play and put her on a TrackMan to measure swing speed before agreeing to date her mom, but love is blind sometimes. Anyhow, the daughter played in a big tournament and dropped an egg on the first day. Total bogey bonanza.
I panicked and went off on her, explaining that mom can barely afford their two bedroom apartment and the remaining 53 months of payments on their Hyundai Tucson. I told her if she had any aspirations beyond cutting hair at Sport Clips like her mom and her aunt, she needed to play better. Things got pretty heated and lots of tears were shed. The girl still hasn’t spoken to me and I’m fairly sure she was the one that keyed my car, but by golly, she improved by 10+ strokes the next day.
I’m not implying that I know more about motivating elite young athletes than Dabo, but the results were unmistakable. The kid is making birdies and the mom thinks I walk on water. Dabo needs to instill fear in these kids. Take their NIL deals away, make them run stairs, threaten to tell their girls about their side pieces…whatever it takes.
It’s time Dabo.

Nah, it’s not like that at all. Girl’s dad was probably an offensive tackle or interior defensive lineman if you catch my drift. That grip would make my driver look inadequate.
