Game after game we go 5 to 10 minutes without scoring a basket because this ### hat of a coach doesn’t have a clue how to coach half court basketball. That’s been evident for years!
After the Louisville loss he said he’s been fighting the team all season with their play on the court. Hello! The team doesn’t listen to the head coach. He doesn’t have control of his team. And he doesn’t put someone’s ### on the bench when they disobey him, which is why they continue to disobey him!
They got their ##### kicked by Louisville, which is probably the worst power five team in the country and one of the worst teams at any level.
They lost by 10 or 12 points to a Boston College team that controlled the game.
Louisville and Boston College are bad teams. You can’t say you have a great coach and you have one of the top teams in the ACC If you can’t beat those two teams!
Simply beat the bad teams that you should have no problem beating and none this would be a problem.
It gets back to the Tommy Bowden problem. Wild inconsistency. Beat a good team, a top-five Florida state, then get your ### kicked by a terrible Wake Forest team. That’s bad coaching! The hallmark of bad coaching is wild inconsistency. The guy is simply not a good coach at this level! How many times do you have to see the same story? Look up the definition of insanity!
The man has been here 13 years. Best facilities and most support by the administration of any coach in Clemson history. The ACC is at a historic low after being watered down by expansion. The ACC has been down the past three to five years, especially this year which is arguably the weakest year in ACC basketball history.
After 13 years if Brad Brownell can’t accomplish something significant he never will. He has always been a flop in the ACC tournament and once had a decent run in the NCAA tournament. Generally he doesn’t even make the NCAA tournament which is easier to get into than ever. Several Clemson coaches were better when ACC and NCAA tournaments were harder.
You sound exactly like people defending Tommy Bowden after nine years. And Brad Brownell has been less successful than Tommy Bowden.
I’m beginning to think you are just a troll because no one can be this dumb and blind when it comes to Clemson basketball.

key games left by Clemson and others. I would love to beat UVa. They are always good and that would be a nice win in the standings and the quest to get into post season.

One thing I like about the GOOD, ENGAGED coaches at Clemson is that they KNOW the history of their employer.
It's like they care enough & have enough respect for that paycheck they are cashing that they know from that whence it has come.

Coach Brownell is saying what every coach would say. If we make shots, we have a chance to win. If the shots don't fall, we can lose to anyone the same way every other team can lose. This is a perfect explanation and would be equal to Dabo or any other football coach saying if we block, tackle and execute, we have a chance to be successful. Those type comments are going to be said everyday in whatever sport is going on.
