... we knew what Notre Dame was going to do on offense and we couldn't stop it. Had no answer for their power run. And our offense is average at best.

At this point, win the next 3 at home including another beatdown against our little brother, somehow beat UNC in ACC championship game, and have a nice showing in a New Years 6 bowl game. We are not playoff material.

Logic blows their minds. We were never a playoff team this year. This is the best scenario we could hope for. I just don’t know how DJ improves after tonight. I know he’s seeing the team psychologist but it’s going to be hard to get get his head on straight after tonight.

You either are an NFL QB or you aren't. No psychologist or QB coach can make you one if you are not. That is why they get paid so much. If you want to be competitive in the CFP, your team needs an NFL-bound QB.

Really? A few come to mind who were excellent college qb’s that we’re not nfl qbs. Can you name a few for Clemson? I can.

Having an NFL bound QB certainly makes it easier. And the days of Stetson Bennetts winning CFP titles are waning. To your point, for Clemson to win titles, esp with our current approach to recruiting and the transfer portal, we simply have to hit on QB.

Unfortunately, I think tonight also could screw with Cade’s head. They give him 1 play, backed up to the goal line and call a pass. When it goes poorly, he is benched. Feel like he was done wrong.

Our offense is horrible. Dabo is calling plays. Dabo is relying on the defense. The defense wasn;t perfect but the lack of offense lost the game and Dabo is completely hands on and micro managing the offense. Nothing new.
