Can Peake, Scott & Williams = Hamilton, Youngblood & Currie?

Jul 5, 2015, 12:43 PM

Best triple threat at WR since 2003?

Yeah. I know Allen was a TE but Allen, Nuk, Sammy

Jul 5, 2015, 12:54 PM

Were more than good

Best Is The Standard

Better***

It's my opinion

Jul 5, 2015, 12:56 PM

That we now get a chance to see what would have happened had Crosby and Zimmerman done what they were supposed to in Cain and Ray Ray. Just imagine how good that wr core would have been, then open your eyes on Sept the 5th and that's what we have, maybe even better.

Sammy, Nuk, and Bryant better than both.***

Re: Sammy, Nuk, didn't have to list Bryant

Jul 5, 2015, 1:08 PM

Neither of those two were human. Neither of them had DW throwing to them either.

I think the impact of our WRs will be equal to any.

Yeah Sammy, Nuk and my 3 year old son would've been #1

Jul 5, 2015, 1:26 PM

Bryant still had a gaudy yds/catch percentage though even back then. Sammy and Nuk are both #1 WRs in the NFL. No Clemson WR group in the past can touch that.

Yea, when you go further than the top 3. Deon Cain, Hopper,

Jul 5, 2015, 4:21 PM [ in reply to Re: Sammy, Nuk, didn't have to list Bryant ]

Ray Ray, Thompson...should be tough.

Bryant didn't get his stuff together until 2013.....

Jul 5, 2015, 1:16 PM [ in reply to Sammy, Nuk, and Bryant better than both.*** ]

Nuk was in the NFL.

So substitute Jaron Brown in 2011 for Bryant, I'd go with

Jul 5, 2015, 4:18 PM

Sammy, Nuk, and Brown by a hair over both your other groups.

Jul 5, 2015, 1:00 PM

it is not even close.

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

did you forget about 2012?

Jul 5, 2015, 1:02 PM

Sammy, Nuk, and Brown - all get significant nfl snaps and 2 first rounders and all-americans. If Brown was played for any other college team chances are he would have been a 4th rounder or better. This year's corps does have the potential to be just as good as 2012 though.

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

They're gonna blow it up.... Best aerial team in the nation.***

I think the biggest difference will be the ability to catch

Jul 5, 2015, 9:13 PM

the ball consistently.

DHam and Currie would get dropsies a little too often. Since Jeff Scott took over as WR coach that has gotten a ton better.

Rests on Peake's shoulders. 2/3 are proven.
