Championship baseball game and be pitching your Friday Starter for the first time. I know Grice being a two way player has a lot to fo with our rotation, but you still have to feel good with our pitching situation. Not only do we have a fresh Darden to start, but we a bullpen that has not been taxed so far in the tourney. I have no clue what kind of shape Miami's staff is in. But, I'm feeling confident. I'm sure a 15 game win streak might have something to do with that. Go Tigers!

With my history of loving the game of baseball, starting pitching and pitching out of the bullpen will sometimes have a hard time with controlling their best stuff bc of too much strength bc of too much rest in between throwing in a live game. And yes, I know that coaches will want them to throw several innings a couple/few days when there has been a long break, but it isn't the same as throwing in a live game, and they will still have issues in the first few innings when they are called on, just saying that too much rest isn't all the time good for a pitcher after throwing in a season schedule. ;)

I agree, but most of our relievers have pitched in the tourney, just not alot. So, they are fresh, but not idle.
