I was not happy with no regular season FSU softball series

As it turns out, that could have been a great example of "be careful what you wish for"
On the other hand, facing the Seminoles for 4 games before the regionals could have made our chances against Alabama much better.

Yeah, it'd been better to face them and let the ladies learn how to play against good competition to stretch them.
I see what okie has done. Used transfers from the sec and west coast teams. Hopefully we'll get info on Rittman class and recruiting/transfers. And don't settle like Monte does with transfers from western Carolina etc.

Yep. Easy to forget she's essentially a true freshman this year. The pitcher from ucla is 6th year and 24 years old.
As for this game, I'm shocked FSU coach didn't bring in another pitcher this inning. They'd got to this gal last night 3rd time through the order. Rookie mistake for a veteran coach. Had she not pitched last night, yes, you'd have to bring her back.
That said, FSU knew it'd take more than 2 runs to beat okie.

It's Great to hate Florida State, but our Tiger softball team certainly would've benefitted from playing the Squaws for sure. At any rate, our team can watch them in the Softball World Series and learn more about playing at that level.
I hate Florida State, but find myself hoping they beat Oklahoma in the Softball World Series final game on Thursday. Those Oklahoma women are surely not ladies with their rudeness.

Okie softball. There was a story written about them. They're not students playing athletics, same as ok football. They're atheletes that have to be students to play. The coach literally manufactures players. They grow up living in that softball camp in California. She's also made a living off of poaching players from sec teams.
We'll be competitive on that level in a couple years.

We saw what an elite recruit like McKenzie Clark did as a true freshman.
Started every game
Second in average .355
First in runs 60
Second in hits 60
Only one error in 52 games
Rittman has an elite pitcher (Brooke McCubbin) coming in to take some of the load off Cagle and an elite infielder(Maddie Moore) to take over probably at short.

Thanks. If you don't mind, where do I go to get this information. Social media? That is wonderful to hear. I'd love to get info like this on golf, soccer, other sports... Or do you just have to know someone, live in the area. Any info would be much appreciated.
On a side note, I'd love to see our hitters, especially our non hitters take the approach when going up against a Fouts, to chop down on the ball and beat it out. Bama killed us on that. Then you get your bomb hitters and instead of a solo shot, you might have a 3 run blast. Not all balls need to be to the outfield. Speed and range is a weapon... Especially at second and short.
