Some of y’all are ridiculous. We played like crap all year and this one we couldn’t right the ship after half time. Deserved to lose. But chill out Tiger nation. Obviously we hope to not do this often but if you play your D game you should lose. At least it was Notre Dame and not Syracuse or Duke this time. Go Tigers but be better next week please

It's arguably the worst Notre Dame team in a while... This still stings as if it was Syracuse. This ND team lost to Stanford and Marshall...

We have Brandon freaking Streeter as our OC. Why Dabo thought this failed QB would be a mastermind as a coach is beyond me. His gameplans are some of the worst I've seen since I've been a fan, and I endured Spence and Napier.

As good as those teams... They just laid eggs those games but this ND team is still very talented and clearly well coached.

I agree but this same ND team is extremely one dimensional on offense and we cannot stop it. As good as their defense may be, 14 points is inexcusable.

This was not our D game. We’re are what we are. An average team in a very average conference. We play a Big 10 style team or an upper echelon SEC team and we get whipped.

Really? I’ve been a Clemson fan my entire 37 years on this earth, have deep ties with the university; and we looked like #### last week, we looked even worse this week…. It’s not a time to not be pissed off.

But this game the other team scored when we played like crap. We got behind and their team got to play loose on offense and defense. We’re not this bad and they’re not this good. Just is what it is.

And got completely out coached by a year one coach. Clemson was completely beaten in every phase of the game. I would have much rather lost to Duke. At least we wouldn't have to hear the narrative of how Notre Dame always beats ACC teams. Not to mention they were on their back up QB while we have more talent. Tonight we could have showed the world we belong in the conversation with big names like Notre Dame. But instead we proved Notre Dame is the elite in college football while we are just a punching bag

We played our F game. The thing that pisses me off is look at the offense on the td drive. Up tempo down the middle slants and totally different plays were called. My question is why don't we do this to start the game?

We didn’t play a bad game we were manhandled. They ripped us on both sides of the ball. We were outcoached and outplayed. We were pushed around. This is absolutely the worst loss honor Dabo. West Virginia game, that was at the beginning of his career, we were nobody program and he was a nobody coach and that was a nobody bowl game. This was the biggest game left on our schedule when we’re trying to show we belong in the playoff this year. You can’t even remotely compare the way we got the #### beat out of us tonight with the West Virginia game. This game was important. And we were supposed to be one of the top programs in the country. People like you are just idiots. Do you think as long as we win 10 games a year and when the ACC which we didn’t do last year everything‘s fine no big deal. Clearly winning doesn’t matter to you. Clearly winning championships does it matter to you. And clearly you don’t understand context. Because this loss was definitely worse than West Virginia. This lost matter. That one did not. And we are an entirely different program now.

Absolutely thumped, and being NON COMPETATIVE. Clemson fans should expect more, maybe not going undefeated but to at least have an offense with a pulse. The coaching staff should be very embarrassed by this performance.

This year.. I mean, we were only gonna be so good this year in terms of national power level. He exceeded my expectations tho I will say . But knew there was always the chance to play real bad and get caught.

I think the thing is, no one truly knows if this is our D game. We’ve looked bad all year, but managed to have a horseshoe up our ### to squeak by. We got out coaches and out played, and it begs the question whether our coordinators, and coaches as a whole, are in over their head? We continue to hire people with no real experience, but because they have ties to the university, and I think it’s finally catching up. I think Dabo’s loyal to a fault, and it’s finally costing him. He won’t sit DJ, and he refuses to hit the portal to address needs. If Dabo doesn’t adapt, the run might be at its end and we might just be a conference champ caliber team, and not a CFP caliber team.

I agree with your perspective. Winning is hard. This is a good ND team - better than their record. That said, we have lots to fix. Dabo should have everyone's attention.

Totally agree with you. To be undefeated up to this point in the year was a miracle. Clemson has just been skating by. Although this year might be a wash as far as a NC goes, I'm still happy to say I've witnessed 2 NC in the last 10 years and for that I can die a happy fan.
