Dabo says he wants to win a NC at Clemson - and frankly easier here than about anywhere else - just have to beat FSU, usuc & ga tech in the same year (possible) and have a bit of luck .....

on their list. He has actually put Clemson on a map they had veered from for quite a few years. In the 80's Clemson was a national power year in and year out. It slowed to a stall in the mid to late 90's and the 2000's had some moments but we never finished our good starts, or started our good finishes in certain years.
Dabo will come up in many possible hires simply because of who he is and what he has stood for at Clemson. We have again become a perenial player and the future looks bright!
For those clamoring about our Co-OC position for Scott and Elliot. Chill out a moment, Dabo has had some things in the works given he knew Chad was temporary. Do you not think he had some plans in place since I know Chad did not just up and go to SMU without some heart to hearts with CDS. Give it a rest, I'm pretty sure the hires of Chad and Brent were the best Coordinator hires in the history of Clemson football!! While it may not be flashy, the move from within shows a commitment to our program and our staff which will pave a new wave of hires in the near future. Going and getting a big name can work, it has for us, but at some point(like the one our Tigers are in), it becomes about keeping things going in the right direction which I have trust in Scott and Elliot.
