that was an amazing night. a lot of people say they will never go back to columbia, but the first five times i made it to a clemson/carolina game in willy b, clemson came away as a winner. i went to two of the three down there during "the streak" and i will go to my grave saying Williams Brice stadium is the absolute best stadium to see a clemson win,but losing there is just below a root canal or colonoscopy. thanks for remembering the good times, and can't wait to get a W down there in november! a win down there trumps all of the crap, included but not limited to: the doo doo ice, the concrete tailgating, warehouses, the ear piercing poultry sounds, delusional fans, cockroaches, slurrier banners, and fifth place rings.

Thanks for posting the link there. Just watched the game for the first time in years. Aahhh....brings joy to my heart. Couple notes:
1) who says Ron cherry hates us?
2) man what a talent gap between then and now. 80% of our players back then were from SC or GA. The speed differential between then and now is striking
3) I forgot how much I hated the 'line up and look at the sideline' of the Bowden era
4) Dabo looks really, really young there on the sideline
5) clipboard Jesus was throwing STRIKES out there. Give it to Charlie, he saved his best for the chickens
