predicted to have low ratings. But think about it. If Ohio State and Michigan had played, and both were 11-1 with one winning in the regular season and then the other winning in the Big 10 Championship, I would have watched it. Same with Michigan/Michigan St, USC/UCLA, or Clemson/USux...oops, that will never happen. My bad.

Perhaps, it was familiarity with both schools or a belief in a probable "brawl" factor, but the game was well worth the effort.

I watched because it was the last chance to watch college football for awhile. It turned out to be a good game.

I know it’s petty, but I didn’t watch it myself hoping for bad ratings if enough people didn’t watch it. ...with the idea being that ESPN might not hype a double-SEC team playoff next year. But alas...

I don’t feel like I missed out, and it wasn’t a big sacrifice on my part anyway. I was tired and probably better off going to sleep - plus now I can watch on YouTube without seeing the commercials whenever I get around to it...
