Anyone participated in Clemson's class ring ceremony?

I will be attending my first one tonight

I have two degrees from Clemson (a BS in 85 and an MBA in 88) and at the time, the University either didn't have a ring ceremony or I just didn't get the memo.

I hear SCar has a fifth-rate ring ceremony.

When I went, they had the WW2 vet give a speech. Not sure if he still does it but it was awesome. It's a must-see if he is still around.

Col. Skowron (sp?) spoke on the meaning of his ring during the Bataan Death March. He described the overall conditions and how his ring saved his life. A very touching and inspirational story.
