Well, at least for now it is. While things could very easily change, for now, our biggest obstacle to the "final four" (assuming that we win out) is Utah. You have to assume that either MSU or OSU and either TCU or BU will be two of four teams. Who is going to bet against Alabama winning out and not being selected as one of the four? That leaves one spot that is going to go to either Utah if it wins out or Clemson if we win out. I think that you could argue that Clemson has the better resume (again, assuming that we win out). But, if Stanford beats ND, and Utah beats Stanford in the PAC12 championship, they could win that argument. An FSU loss to FL could also hurt us. We are definitely not a lock to participate even if we win out!

is still viewed as a top ~15 team by the advanced metrics. And of course the game is at USC too which accounts for about ~4 pts on the spread.

I wouldn't be surprised if all Big XII teams ended up with a loss. Baylor's last 4 games are at KST, OU, at OSU, and at TCU. TCU has also looked vulnerable so i would be surprised if they make it through completely unscathed.
None of Baylor, TCU, OU, or OSU (4 best teams in the conference) have played each other yet. The Big XII pulled that scheduling trick that the Big East used for awhile scheduling games between the projected favorites at the end of the season.

every year around this time we do this. Assume like 4-5 teams are going to go unbeaten and yet it NEVER happens. The upsets will come. Give it time.
Baylor or TCU could be stunned as could Bama again or Ohio State
