I must be looking at a different score than some of you. Didn't Notre Dame win 56-27? That's only a TD difference on that side...bigger difference is allowing WF to score 27 vs 3.

That’s probably what Bill meant. We scored 7 more and held them to 24 less.

They won by a 29 point margin.
We won by 60 thus the 31.

Unfortunately we were labeled as not living up to our billing and being over ranked early and that’s going to be the narrative all year no matter the results. They will spin there opinions however they need to in order to keep the narrative going. That’s why we can beat wake by more than ND and wake sucks but it was a good win for ND. Kind of like when Jackson won the heisman in September. Watson out played him two fold over the second half of the year but it didn’t matter minds were made up. I’m not sure how we will be able to change the perception or if it’s even possible since the schedule is the way it is. Maybe destroying a top 10 Miami team in the acccg is the only chance we have. And that depends on Miami not crapping the bed like they almost did last night somewhere along the way and not making it to the title game.
