Are we “too selective” in recruiting and portal recruiting ?

It seams to me, giving out scholarships after you lose a recruit or the recruit doesn’t pick us so then we offer player B…..looks bad and puts you behind the 8 ball…….say what you want but Stars/ratings matter….maybe not for 1 out of 15 walk on’s but overall it matters.
