on the Gamecock basketball issue......

I state the following with nearly a 50-year unblemished record of Gamecock hatred......
But as a native South Carolinian, it would be FANTASTIC if the Cluckers happened to win it all. That would mean that the current National Champs in College Football, Baseball, AND Basketball would be schools located in the state. Clemson-Coastal-SCAR. How unbelievable and unprecedented would that be??
That said, I hope Baylor beats them this weekend and gets the earth back on its proper axis. But you have to admit that it would be an awesome accomplishment for our state.
Plus, Clemson still would have by FAR the most meaningful one.

I would like a Gamecock NCAA basketball champion.
My reasons are many, but Clemson would benefit and that is my main reason.
Yes, Yes, Yes I can explain how this happens, but it should be unnecessary to explain to college educated folk.
Now ... on the other side of the coin ... it won't happen, the Chickens will not win it all.
