I saw that yesterday and was thinking that’s weird, especially so close to the start of the season. Maybe trying to get students excited about baseball? But a Student Home Run Derby?

This is a great way to energize the students and create interest in the baseball program this season.

Maybe Brownell can create some type of half court shot competition to bring students to LJ?

This is a great idea all the way around. If he could get one walkon onto the team it would be helpful. Baseball recruiting is very hard with all of the limitations and competition vs the endowed schools like Vanderbilt.
