Did difficult & 9-3 season cause OC, DC & AD to leave Clemson

all at once? The answer is NO, but for outsiders it seems more than plausible.
All three men had been tapped for other possible positions for years it’s heard and this was the year that the “best” job openings came open, amazingly for all three at the same time.
Now, would they have left if Clemson was in the CFP again?
Who knows for sure but probably yes, imo, since their worth would have been even higher and it was time.
Glad Coach had a plan in place (for years he said) for the replacement of the OC & DC.
Go TiGERS!

BV had the Big Cheese fly TO HIM and offer The Earth, The Moon and The Stars... TE walked off and made Virginia agree to HIS terms... Two smart cookies...Now all they have to do is produce...

It was just a perfect storm for Clemson.

Rough season, then the perfect job and opportunity opened up for BV, and a great opportunity came open for TE, and apparently DR had been wanting to go back to Miami.
I'm an optimist, most of the time, so I'm falling into the "change can be good" camp. I'm looking forward to seeing how if any the defense and offenses change. But the good thing is that, to the players, the change won't be dramatic. There will be some shuffling around of coaches, but no new faces, no new personalities, no dramatically different styles or schemes. They know all the new guys, and the new guys were part of the previous system, so they will carry some of that into their style of coaching.
BV and TE had kinda been to the peak, and it's hard to stay at the peak - it's almost inevitable that you come down from it, as we did this year, to some degree. But the new guys - while they've been to the peak, this is a new climb for them. They have a lot to prove and I think will attack these positions with a lot of energy and enthusiasm.
I'm looking forward to it!

From an outside perspective I'm sure it's easy to surmise that "The Sky is Falling".
Dabo isn't perfect, but I was wrong about Clemson hiring him in the first place so what do I know. That being said, he's earned the benefit of the doubt and I hope he knows what he's doing.
Outside hiring Venables, and Mike Reed I can't remember ever thinking "yep, that was a GREAT hire".
I don't think Dabo promoted from within just to make a point. He's unconventional, and he's gonna get things turned around.

have been entertaining job offers if we were still in Playoff mode. And, schools and their fanbases want "Instant Gratification" when it comes to coaching searches these days. Just look at all the Hubris on the Tigernets over the fact that Dabo took his own time in naming Coordinator replacements, and did not let US run the searches for him! Of all the 95% pure unmitigated Gall!

So why should we care what outsiders think?

If Riley hadn't bolted to the real USC, I'm pretty sure no other program would have gotten CBV to leave this year.
And had we made the playoffs and TE was still busy preparing for a championship run, then who knows. Would've meant we had yet another great year and he'd have been even hotter commodity, so likely he would have gotten lured away.

Money caused A D. To leave. His dream job and a sweet salary caused the D..C. to leave. The O.C. kew he better take what he could get because his stock was only going down.
