But let’s face it, we are clearly not thinking this through clearly.

Transmission rate in SC is through the roof right now so if you do the math on 75,000 people, 1-5% possibly walking infections, ~ 35,000 unvaccinated, no masks, yelling all game long, the outcome is probably thousands of new infections, maybe tens of thousands over time.

On the bright side, the more dense exposures, more infection-conferred immunity, this will boost our herd immunity.

The dark side no one wants to think about, but we will be yelling about this in October.

Really wanted to attend the game last night but after watching ESPN Gameday and seeing how people were behaving, sold my 4 tickets and didn’t go.
