Trump approves repeal now, replace later.

Jun 30, 2017, 4:57 PM

That's what I wanted from the start.

Thanks, Trump!
Now, every rational adult in the US has heard you confirm that THE DONALD is an idiot, and he doesn't care about the GOP.

cool, we can back to the days of discriminating against pre existing conditions and poor people using the ER as their primary care physicians.

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Truthfully, the latter is still happening***

Yep, that's part of the reason premiums are going up.***

Yes, it does still happen; but using the ER as the place of primary healthcare will expand drastically under the GOP healthcare plans. Then, insurance premiums will explode into the stratosphere after the first year for most people with health insurance.
Idiots. (McConnell is solidifying his position in history as the "best do-nothing, obstructionist senator in history. Obviously, he is clueless.)

Why would anyone in their right mind pay insurance...

Jun 30, 2017, 6:17 PM [ in reply to Re: Trump approves repeal now, replace later. ]

premiums if they can get insurance when they get sick?

Isn't that the purpose of the mandate?***

Yes but it's cheaper for the people who are of healthy age..

Jun 30, 2017, 7:19 PM

to pay the fine rather than paying for coverage they believe they do not need. That's a huge part of the problem with Obamacare. You know all this I have no idea why you asked that question.

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpgringofhonor-clemsontiger1988-110.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It was a rhetorical question.

Jun 30, 2017, 8:33 PM

Sounds like they should increase the fine.

One thing is certain. The RINO's can't agree on what day it is. If they continue with the way they are "governing", they will be wandering in the wilderness for 40 years.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

They already have almost 30 behind them.

Jun 30, 2017, 6:15 PM

If 40 is all it takes we might yet save the country from socialism.

Repealing without a feasible replacement

Jul 1, 2017, 7:53 AM

Is dereliction of duty.

But I digress... Allow me to present a conservative view on why this is a really terrible idea:

Whatever happens, Republicans will "own" health care ...

Jul 1, 2017, 11:07 AM

And we'll see how that plays out in the next several election cycles.

Borrowing an old '80's acronym, health care is FUBAR ... whoever owns it is a loser primarily because criticism is much easier than solutions.

Re: Trump approves repeal now, replace later.

Jul 1, 2017, 12:06 PM

Yeah! That will make the maximum number of disenfranchised voters rush to the polls in 2018, and vote democratic. (We all know that the GOP (white, male) secret healthcare committee will not be able to put together any plan that will make both of the far-right GOP congress persons and the Senators from the poor states that need funding of Medicaid.)
That could be the end of any attempts of keeping the two (widely-diverged) parts of the GOP congress people from trying to pass any meaningful bills.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

As long as you and the rest of the dems keep up this...

Jul 2, 2017, 9:45 AM

identity politics you'll remain at the mercy of your emotions. You continue to drive a wedge between the races, genders and religious of this country so you can be the victims.

All your doing is pizzing off voters. My grandmother use to say you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. I'm aware than some of the dem have this figured out but the loudmouths on your side of the fence shout them down.

This strategy has failed giving you over a thousand lost seats in government.
