the likes of Deon Cain and Shadell Bell, with the possibility of Ray Ray......I don't give a plug nickle about a report that a former WR receiver prospect selected the Heels or any other school. Good luck to'em, but I don't need to see a report on Tnet about them.

I agree, last years WRer class was great, next year with Cain, Bell and Ray Ray (who I think we get) will top that class.

I like to know which ones we don't get as much as the ones we do get.
That way we know who is off the board and who we are still considering.

If you follow the numbers you know we weren't considering him anymore.

I like the convenience of t-net reporting it.

everyone of these recruits...but then we'd be like every other SEC school out there...yanking schollys left and right.
But it is also nice knowing when and where other commitments wind up. It's like 'knowing thy enemy,' you get to see what you may be up against. If they hadn't reported Molette to UNC, I'd still be thinking we may have a chance with him say if Campbell goes somewhere else...

Personally I hate seeing the articles about recruits, which are not high priority recruits, going to other schools. It gives a incorrect appearance that we have been beaten for a recruit when there are details that are not reveiled such as the facts that the player may have an issue or that we had stopped recruiting that player because of other commitments we recently received. Also it brings out the crowd saying that the other school must of payed him big bucks or the player must not want an education which reflects poorly on our fanbase. As much as people hate it a recruit can like a school more than clemson for reasons other than they have been paid or will never have to attend a class. We can only take around 15 players a year on average and we hand out a lot of offers so of course talented players with a clemson offer are going to end up at other schools.

Sign. So when we have a high priority target still out there we need to take a commit from a lesser target for what we know. 2 possibilities. Bad news- we wanted the kid bad and we got beat out. Good news- the staff is confident enough with our high priority targets to wait on them so the lesser players go where they can when they can.
When we are well into a stellar class with lots of big time guys still real high on us, news of lesser targets going elsewhere should almost always be read as good news about a future commit we will get at the same position.

Especially when it comes to teams that we play. You can be a Clemson fan and still care about what happens with other teams- that's called also being a college football fan.

If Ray Ray comes on board, then we have 3 better than the 1 WR they are going to get at the Academic center of the ACC, where cheating is an art and passing dumb-ass ball players is a given. UNCHEAT!
