Well, I reckon Dabo's comment about Meyer is pretty much true. Been coaching awhile. Bet Carman loss was tough on Meyer.

Dabo already lives rent free in their heads. This will kill them.
For the record, no one is picking a school based on a rival school’s coach saying that the other coach won’t be around much longer. I don’t care what they say...if that was truly an impactful thought, the recruit would discuss it with the other coach.
Urban Meyer is 53 years old, by the way. Not exactly ancient. Five years older than Dabo. I know he’s had health scares but still.

Caman will be able to return to Clemson and see Dabo even after Caman is in the NFL for a half dozen years. These are the twilight coaching years for Meyer. Anyway, OSU will have some great teams over the next 5 years. I am sure we will meet in the playoff at one point. It should add to the game.

Look back to Florida. Meyer took that program back to the top. But before he retired you could see the slide starting. Ohio st. Is following suit. Always a monster on the recruiting trail but seems like the players stop buying in and developing those top level studs, slips. Maybe after the new wears off 5,6,7 years, after taking the job, his fire goes
out

He lost Dan Mullen OC at Florida, instant slide. Florida offense still hasn't recovered.
He lost Tom Herman at OSU. Both these guys helped Urban win titles, as soon as they left there was major drop off.
He has not replaced Herman with the caliber of OC he needs to be successful. They are also kind of soft defensively b/c they play against old man offenses of the Big 10.
