Way to give everyone a chance to shine. Players that will likely never see the field get a chance to compete in a live game against the studs and show case their taken some.

This game does not say anything about the team. We also had 20 scholarship players out. Dabo was very blunt earlier in the week when he said they were thin for the game.

If Dabo walked away happy with what he saw and they accomplished what he wanted to accomplish, then I’m ok with it.

Still wouldn't mind seeing the starting Oline go up against the starting Dline for a couple of series.

And yes, the spring game is designed to get a lot of guys meaningful scrimmage experience.

I disagree that the game doesn’t show us anything about our team. It absolutely shows us where a lot of players are in their development.

And we know by now that we can’t count on Dabo for brutal honesty about the team, especially at this point in the spring. He’s always going to tend toward being positive while sugar coating problems he sees when he talks to the media.

If you aren’t concerned about the offense, especially after last year’s offense being so bad, then you aren't being honest with yourself. Yes, we have injuries, but having some players back isn’t likely to result in a transformation from what we saw yesterday into the dynamic offense we hope to see.

Thankfully, there is a lot of time between now and August for our guys to get better.
