Dan Nooner explaining NET rankings is depressing

Where’s the eye test? We objectively look like a solid, well coached squad.

Where’s the points for finishing strong? The coot game was the second game of the year. November freaking 11. Yea it’s a bad loss but shouldn’t we get points for looking so much better lately. Shouldn’t Jan and Feb matter more?

Where’s the understanding that our best player was barely able to play early in the year, coming back from injury the previous season? Shouldn’t that matter to the basketball committee when the time comes to evaluate Clemson?

the reasons you pointed out. I am 100% confident that they won’t rely exclusively on NET to determine where teams get seeded in the tournament. It will be a key ingredient, but everyone can see that it has flaws too that will have to be worked around.

If we lose a couple of ACC games, we are still going to the dance and won’t be a bottom seed either. The key is to not lose more than that and ideally win em all.

This team is solid enough and well rounded enough that they can do that too! I am thoroughly impressed with this team. I thought I would never see the day, but they really are good!
