Someone post a freeze frame of the Bouleware hit...

...to show those conspiracy Lewisville redheads it was a perfectly legal hit. They clearly don't know chit about anatomy.

Who cares anymore? I was posting about the "choke" after the game Saturday. But now it's just UL fans sucking on lemons because despite their all time effort they still couldn't get it done. And coots are just plain scared of what's coming. At this point it's comical.

Someone already posted a vid over there that it is obvious to anyone with eyes his arm hits the upper chest/shoulder....you just have some that will whine about conspiracy forever because they don't take loss well. That and it appears they believe UNC fans of all people (and Duke, who we haven't played in ages) about Clemson being the team getting preferential treatment. You can tell some of their fans are really lacking knowledge.

so are forearm shivers legal in Football?

generally not.
BV was upset at the technique, not just where Boulware hit him.
Totally unnecessary on Ben's part.

"generally not". Based on what? That is a stupid statement. It's either legal or it's not. I have never heard of a rule that outlaws them, if you know of One please enlighten me. If they are illegal, every OLineman should be flagged on every play.

punching is illegal - I always considered elbow drops

and flying elbows forms of "hitting" or "punching".
It was definitely a flying elbow Boulware hit him with.
I think you need to forget about targeting and
simply look at the form of the hit.

So now Boulware is dirty for tackling with his hands?

They even stopped the game, slowed the play down, scrutinized it, and determine it was a legal play. But none of that is good enough for the pussie$ out there that want to whine about tough play.

Next game...

Boulware will have to tackle with his fingers.
And he'll still be called for unnecessary roughness. LOL

so you're telling me 'forearm shivers' are legal...

Boulware did not hit him with his hands,
he hit him with the elbow extended and the forearm.
No, it wasn't targeting as it was at shoulder level.
But normally "hitting" motions are not allowed in football.
In other words, you cannot "punch" another player.
Flying elbows were always a form of a "hit" in my book....
maybe the ACC disagrees.
But I repeat, BV was noticeably upset - and it had to have been about the form of the hit
since no penalty was given.

It doesn't matter what you show them...

they have already made up their minds (forgive the misuse of the term) and facts will not influence them.
For ONCE, the replay booth got it right on overturning a targeting penalty.
Way to go Ben, and great game Tigers!

Who cares what Louisville fans think...

That's scout message board is filled with crap and bitterness...like little league moms crying about fairness.....
I actually got banned from that site 2 years ago after our game and Jody Demling who runs the site banned me from his twitter for making some sort of comment...no idea what it was now but had something to do with one of their games.
A sensitive bunch to say the least.
