Not enough info yet. Are they also going to eliminate

the "no more than 2 from any conference" rule? That's the one that will turn the BCS bowls into an SEC jircle cerk.

I don't really think so. Just this past season the ACC received 2 bids to the BCS so it is a stretch to say that removing the AQ status would hinder the ACC from receiving a bid. Also of note the playoff will most likely lead to the addition of the cotton bowl as the 6th BCS game. Two will be used as a playoff, one as the championship, and three will remain BCS games outside of the playoff. As long as your team finishes in the top 15 you will have a good chance at a BCS bid.

As far as making the playoff the ACC may have a hard time except in special years. From the start of the BCS the ACC has had a top 4 team 6 times. That would mean an ACC team would participate in the playoff every 2 to 3 years.

ACC would definitely be close to the bottom of the list

especially after this past bowl season. We got killed but the lowest of the BCS lows...WVU didn't even win or play for their conference championship..they back-doored their way in and beat us like we've never been beaten before.......it even taints that whole Major Harris beatdown... It will def. be tuff for Clemson to get an at-large given our only BCS appearence we were heavily overmatched...like Div 1 to NAIA overmatched.

It does not really matter...if you win enough games and are

ranked high enough, you will go if you win your conference championship.

In other words, just win your games. Let others worry.***
