A lot is on the O-Line. You can’t get creative if you can’t block 3 players with your 5 lineman. Look at all the success Clemson’s Defense has had over the years. It’s because their DLine disrupted the other team’s line and basically caused them to scrap the game plans. Hate typing this but they made those old opposing teams look like Clemson’s offense this year. Football starts upfront even in the era of offense. Yeah we would love to see some creativity on offense but it’s not that simple if you can’t block.

season. A loss, goes without saying it's done. Another ugly win, and further down the rankings we go. There are just too many other teams out there that are playing a more impressive brand of ball right now.

Meaning, the pollsters no longer care about good defense, they want to see points scored.
