Is this the fastest Clemson defense EVER?

I was asked this on the show this week. I think it's a tough one.
I believe the linebackers are faster. They have all leaned down to around 235 out of fall camp.
They all said they wanted to get quicker this year. I'd say they succeeded.
XT has always been a monster with his size and speed.
It looks like Terrell, DK, Muse, KVon, and Nolan are even better than last year.
I don't see the team get blown away on deep passes much.

Is it the fastest...I don't know. It's hard to compare. No matter what...this team is FREAKING ELITE!!!

I don't think anyone can touch them right now.

At the most basic level of this debate we have removed a defensive tackle and added an extra LB or DB for most of the season.

Rarely in the past has Clemson run a 3 man front.

This change alone is going to make the defense as a whole move around the field much faster.

Good point. The 3-3-5 should be a quicker defense than the 4-3. On paper at least.
