Is this team better than 2010 CWS team?

Top to bottom, it's close. But we also have had a lot of issues, mainly bullpen. We were 1 game away from the final and we blew up, but is this team talent wise, better than 2010? I'd say no but I trust this team more in an elimination game in Omaha.

IMO, it was a good question, and also IMO, I think this team is better, and if not, that would only mean that the competition this season has been weaker.

Different playing styles. 2010 was still better. When you look back at that lineup it’s a dang good one. The pitching was also better. The difference is one team was coached by 7 and this one is coached by EB. It’s a big factor. Idk how others feel but we should not be 42-17. This shows the belief and confidence that coach is able to instill. I’ve seen great baseball teams before and this team doesn’t have any of the pitching to matchup with those teams yet we still keep winning and winning and winning. If you gave the 2010 roster to Erik bakich then……

This is the best team we’ve had since that team.
Monte really did have some good teams, but there wasn’t enough to compete with Omaha programs at the time.
But yes, this team is maybe the best we’ve had since before 2010. Whenever the last greatest team before 2010 was, I’m just not thinking straight to remember.

You can achieve a ton of winning when your top 6 in the order are hitting like this team and playing solid defense. That’s overcoming a shaky pitching staff beyond Grice. Great teams travel with several locked in starters and a shutdown reliever or two. That’s Wake Forest. Clemson is not Wake Forest, but who cares. This team will keep winning until a team with great pitching cools off the hitters.

That team had excellent pitching up and down the roster but was a little light on hitting at times (though obviously good enough to win a ton of games and get the #1 seed).
