I said at the beginning of the last season that he would be a late-round pick at best and likely a free agent. Fortunately, he proved me DEAD Wrong, he had a great year, and his 6'7" wingspan and ginormous hands make up for 6'.05"

He ended up in a great situation with a great offense. I do wonder where he could've been drafted next season if he came back to Clemson this year and put up similar numbers. I'm very happy for him for the season he had, and for being drafted. A lot of people were very down on him. I think he deserves a ton of credit for sticking it out at Clemson when a lot of guys would've transferred out due to the limited playing time he received before last season. I'm glad we didn't have to see what our offense would've looked like last season had he transferred.

And playing for KC will make it easier for him. Everyone will be focusing on Hill and Kelce. Be a reliable and dependable WR and he can put up some BIG numbers in his rookie contract there.

And I think they ultimately got a steal. I think he does well in that system and against top NFL secondaries.

Wasn’t there a poster on this board that was obsessed with Cornell Powell? His name was captain Cornell Powell or something like that. He made several posts about how Powell was going to be the next big thing at Clemson. I bet last season was fun for that guy.
I wonder where he is at nowadays.
