Is it worth not winning all the time for integrity in CFB?

Let’s face it- college feee agency is here. And the teams and conferences(SEC) who already have perfected the undercover pay to play or pay to sign have perfected pandering and player “panhandling.” Combined With ESPN and pay for players it’s a landscape we are not in sync, value wise. I was at the football complex last weekend. Everything and everyone is in sync with mission, vision and values of character. It’s all over the walls, floors, offices, training and practice areas- literally!!! What I believe, from some of the coaches I know and have met- Clemson will always be different than what this new/old way of winning is all about. Personally- I am glad!!! But will I/we be able to handle the Joe Burrows and Justin Fields, Sermon coming in to beat us in that one game scenario on the big stage- and then losing players like Bowman and others to transfer recruiting. I don’t know how to answer that- I’m pretty mercurial(lol!) Look out- cause Miami and FSU is going that route to beat us too. We need to plant ourselves in what we stand for MORE than winning those transfer/paid well player dominated games. And of course we will win it all every 2 years when our players mature through normal 3-4 year development.

Geville Tiger on Clemson football , "Dabo's only problem is he has to deal with turd fans questioning every move he makes.”

Exactly.

Essentially, it comes down to trusting that the guy who designed the Clemson system and built the Clemson dynasty has the comprehensive perspective to adjust or to intensify as conditions change.

Or, is he just too stupid and stubborn to recognize changes.

Personally, I'll stick with the guy who got us where we are. Knee-jerks are a dime a dozen.
