Is It Possible TNet is to Blame for our Poor Start?

Nov 2, 2021, 1:11 PM

The only thing I use my phone for is calls, text, email, an occasional Google and checking on TNet. These kids are GLUED to their phones. Coaches are the same. There’s no way they’re not reading these posts. DJ has read everything you ashwholes say. He probably has an account to defend himself like Brownlee. Some nerd even brought up Shipley’s appearance this weekend after his post-game. Unbelievable. TNetters have affected the confidence level of our players and our coaches. These kids are growing up in the softest time in American history, where everyone gets a trophy, win or lose, and you don’t have to work hard to get paid. They just don’t have the fortitude to take these criticisms.

I think we should all pretend these guys are better than they’re performing. For their sake.

As George Carlin said....

Helicopter parenting is turning kids into entitled over-rated, over-valued, little cult objects that are always the center of attention and will have a bad outcome.

This overly-protective child self-esteem movement that started in the 1990's has now evolved into college "safe spaces" where young adults can hide from opinions or speech they don't like that just reinforces the lack of coping skills they should have learned as children.

Stop over protecting them and burning them out on structure. You’re just turning them into a bunch of biscuits (soft and flakey) and you’re taking all of the fun out of being a kid.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

This is essentially what every generation has thought about the following generation since the beginning of time.

In my opinion, it’s all about recruiting. We’ve missed big in the state of Georgia and we have always had to have that state to be elite. Nothing worth the effort is in California, focus on Georgia

Yes……it’s also possible that a cantaloupe will take over the world and that the world will come to an end because gravity decides to take a year off.
