Is it possible it's the mods who stir up all the "controversy" on the board, only to then come along and impose the hand of "big brother censor" in order to create more conversation, intrigue, and interest?

It’s only the quackery that gives it life. If not for that, it would be a giggly sorority of people wanting to be liked (aka pulse rating) and this childish obsession with how many thumbs up you can get .
