Yes he dethroned a starting veteran and has been very solid. However, they would never even look twice to a kicker, rookie or not. My vote for rookie of the year will come to who out of Sammy, Kelvin Benjamin, or Mike Evans finishes the season the strongest. I wish Sammy had somebody better to toss him the ball than Kyle Orton... pull Tajh out of the FXFL and let him play with C.J. and Watkins... it would be like the 2000's Clemson Dynasty Team

As of now, no. But, the season is only halfway

played. Carson Palmer is out. Catman is something like 17/18 on FGs.
IF Arizona continues to win, but the games are tight and won by FGs with the absence of Palmer, it is a worthwhile discussion. It would take at least 1 or 2 game winning kicks and many close games in my opinion.
