Because if he does this little fantasy he's trying to sell himself and other conspiracy wingnuts is going to meet reality real quick.

Better yet - why doesn't old boy pack his ### in a car and drive on up to Chernihiv, Kharkiv, and Sumy East of Kyiv. I bet he won't because homeboy knows that is "Indian country" and he just might get a body part blasted off playing this little conspiracy game he's trying to sell.

I think you have a misconception of combat and how

military operations are conducted. No attacking force in their right mind attacks "everywhere" in a country as whole swaths of a countries land mass are strategically and tactically irrelevant. There will always be "hotspots" and areas untouched during combat operations. Ukraine is over 233K square miles in size - a lot of it being open plains and farm fields. It would require well over 2 million attacking troops to cover that kind of area to the point where invading troops are seen and felt just about "everywhere".

Modern professional military forces don't focus combat power on irrelevant pieces of ground and for good reason. Resources are limited and one better not waste them. Just because a military graphic shows an area in red does not mean every square foot of that area has an enemy troop standing on it or that the area has been fought over. A military force can "control" an area without having troops standing on it - for instance having a geographic area targeted with enough indirect fires to the point that opposing forces are denied that piece of terrain.

What this guy and some others are doing with this "war isn't really going on" garbage is akin to a person that lives in the middle of a forest claiming cities don't exist because everywhere he walks he sees trees.

Ultimately believe what you want to believe - free country and all. However, I've been in combat and have traveled through enough combat zones to recognize movie sets from reality. What's going on in Ukraine is very real and not some elaborate conspiracy game being played out for the Pentaverate...

I'm not saying "war is not going on." The twitter guy may be, I dunno, I scrolled through and watched the videos for the most part. I just told you what my point was - that it is odd that so much is being staged and faked. Obviously there is conflict going on, there are attacks going on (from both sides), nobody is denying that.
