sounds very reasonable. $5000 for a 2 minute spot is laughable. After a couple of years the big money men will stop paying once their "team" doesn't win the conference/playoff bowl/national championship. And these guys are not going to settle for a conference championship for that kind of money. It's all going to sort out in a couple of years when pictures of guys driving around town in their cars, flashing bling on instagram and making it rain in the club on tik tok after they just dropped a catchable ball, fumbled and didn't win every game.

So you do these spots and what if they suck? Or what if they transfer at the end of the year. Or what if they sit and don’t play in the post season. Well I guess you quit running the ads but you’re apparently not doing this to advertise and make money. You are trying to buy a championship. Interesting times. You would think in the long run it would equilibrate but a whole lotta crazy right now.

....dumbest successful guy I've ever met.

Reinforced the fact (IMO) that things like intellect isn't the most important. It's creativity, creating a pathway for yourself, working really, really hard at it and then scaling it.
