Last time Clemson won the ACC was on a rainy day like today on the same field.

Really thought that Dan Radakovich had made the right hire for Clemson Baseball after Monte Lee's first team won the ACC Tournament but unfortunately things just did not pan out.

Yep. Don't think it was a bad hire except Lee had little head coach experience. I really think his downfall was not hiring the right assistants and/or reluctant to change. And was way too wrapped up in analysis and never getting a feel for in game.

Jack Leggett won in his first year as well. 1994 ACC Champ vs FSU.

Making the last 3 Clemson coaches to win the ACCT in their 1st year. You may have already heard this, but it’s just a crazy thing.

Tim Bourret tweeted all 5 Clemson Baseball coaches in the ACC era have won the conference in their first year!

"Bob Smith (1954), Bill Wilhelm (1958), Jack Leggett (1994), Monte Lee (2016), Eric Bakich (2023)."

All won the conference in their first year as HC at Clemson.
