Interesting Graham Neff time with media...

Said hopes for baseball success with Monte because might be his number 1 love since he is from Atlanta with the Braves...

Also, mentioned that worked a lot with Brad Brownell in basketball as well as Football which was his main job before become the AD. He said is comforting that with Basketball Brad plays by the rules with compliance toward the NCAA, and off the court he does a great job, and hope for success this season and quickly finished. So sounds like still evaluating his on court performance and that might go on for awhile.

didn't know if basketball was going to be asked but it was toward the end. David asked Nef that Brad Brownell received a lot of complaints to DRad and what is his status with the program?

Yeah, sounds like we have him at least another year. I realize it's probably widespread bending of the rules, some flat out scrum but not every coach is that way. Not a reason to be content with what we have now. Sorry, jmho.

for 20 minutes i'd be right on board. We're kinda at this pivotal point in our football program. The NIL will keep us relevant or we will be back to mid pack in the conference. Heck Texas AM just got awarded the unanimous #1 recruiting class out of nowhere..how? it was all about NIL $$$. Kinda like that one year Ole Miss garnered teh #1 class out of nowhere...how? they cheated and payed out... but now its legal. Meaning its part of "doing it the right way." Hopefully we're adapting at a high level b/c if we go another 2/3 years without hopping on the train we might have a hard time getting back up.
