INSANELY impressed w/this team

Dec 5, 2020, 11:02 PM

Come on.

Constant flux of players. Not due to Covid but the injury bug. Still, they fight and find a way to win. The one game they didn’t pull out, they earned their way into a second chance.

This team might not have the stats or the perfection of the ‘18 team but they have heart. The have the eye of the tiger. They have battled all year. Starting with the loss of Ross and now they have everything in front of them.

Insanely impressed.

I'm proud of this team

and happy with the level they've been able to perform with a TON of injuries.

With that said, I really hope, in order:

1) Offensive line improves greatly over the next two weeks, and...

2) We've held back (greatly) on Offense playing calling the last several weeks, and...

3) We get Ngata and Ladson back, and everyone else is healthy as well.

In reverse order, I think 3) changes 2) and with a true vertical threat 1) becomes easier. Even tonight, VT was just loading the box. Tough to block extra defenders. With a healthy WR group, Ladson/Ngata will spark that deep threat. That’s my hope at least.
