Inflation getting closer to home

After I left the salon getting my hair cut, I stopped by the local grocer to procure some provisions for making a cheese board & charcuterie for an evening get together. When, lo, much to my dismay, cornichons are now up to $7 a jar! It’s not like I’m going to NOT buy cornichons for my cheese boards, a clear demonstration of inelastic demand. Oh well. Maybe we’ll all get some relief soon.
