gas, food, etc. You have to take a picture of your receipts, text them somewhere, and get 'cash' back.

However, it appears good. You don't have to link a credit card or bank account to the app. Also, you upload the receipt which typically doesn't show the entire credit card/debit card number. It does check for the last 4 digits of payment method.

Super easy. Claim a deal on gas, restaurants or groceries and it gives you a specific amount of time to buy that deal at the pump (for gas). Once you make the purchase that you claimed, it gives you the savings back into your UPSIDE App. You can transfer that money to your checking account (that what we do) or let it accumulate to apply towards gift cars and credit at participating companies (and there's a ton).

May have to look into that. I have overheard of some co workers talking about getting money back on purchases but had no idea how they were doing it and have never asked. Wonder what the upside for them is? Advertisements?
