when we ran what, nine 3 & outs in a row? We ran 47 plays and they ran 96? 96 - 47 isn't "a couple of plays"....

I don't think coaches should be calling out players or anything but to say the game came down to a couple of plays is right up there with Dabo calling TE a genius or whatever it was. Pure head in the sand, this ain't getting fixed any time soon, BS.

The fact that we're 2-2 in September is concerning but what's even worse is the incessant coach speak that we have to get every week. The program is pretty much in shambles and everybody's acting like Lt. Frank Drebin.

Technically he’s right. Even after all the crappy offensive play, in the end it came down to a few plays…2 overtime’s shows that.
It’s also technically correct to say the defense lost the game by not stopping them on the last drive or the first overtime. It would be laughable to actually believe that, but it wouldn’t be a lie.
It’s just coach speak.

have been outstanding. Coach Elliott knows a gazillion times more about football than I ever will. There is no doubt about any of that. At the same time, our offense is total garbage so far this year. That also is just as true. Anything else is a fabrication or a delusion.
