There was some chatter that Briningstool would have perhaps been a transfer candidate.
Considering he will be THE guy in the TE room next season, where was this speculation coming from? Was the word that he's unhappy?

The onset of a sudden NIL deal dangled by another school (illegally, of course) could change even a happy mind, if the mindset were so inclined.

Not to poo poo this thread, but keep in mind virtually any responses will be very subjective rumors. The reason for players willing to leave the program have always been varied and often not obvious. The portal and NIL have only compounded that ambiguity. Money? Homesick? Met some chick online?….

There was a tweet yesterday that got shared which was very critical of our play calling and offensive scheme in general that he supposedly gave a "like" to. That seemed to charge up the rumor mill for a while.
