In reality Clemson has not given any respect to Scar for

Dec 3, 2013, 9:06 AM

120 years. Why would we? They've been terrible for that long. The program has an all-time losing record and their mascot is a chicken. South Carolina has suffered more losses to Clemson than any other program.

With that said, it's been miraculous what Spurrier has done. I hate the guy but he has my respect now. What he did at Duke, Florida and now South Carolina is as impressive as Nick Saban's resume.

But don't fret Clemson faithful. The tide will turn. It always does.
This was Scar's best chance to win a conference title and they let it slip away. Next year Scar replaces their Dline of 5*, 4*, 4* with a bunch of 3* and 2*s. That alone right there will get them killed in the SEC and eventually Clemson.

Have a good day and the future is bright. Beat Bama!

I dont see our future as any brighter than theirs. WV and Tex have show success in college football can go away quickly. cash in while you can (which we didnt).

maybe next year we'll be good. maybe not. there are no guarentees.

Our Defense is going to be top ten.

Cole Stoudt and Chad Kelly have shown they both can run the offense at a high level. Personally I think Kelly will be much better than Boyd. And DeShaun Watson better than both.

No worries my friend. We have recruited well enough to stay a top ten program.

Our Defense is going to be top ten next year. Totally Agree.

The 2014 defense will be one of Clemson's best in a long time. I don't think the offense will suffer greatly with the pending player losses. Next year, 9-3 at worst.

we'll see. I dont think we are a top 10 program now based on our FSU and SoCar performances. top 10 programs dont do that.

Woods, SCAR will see a major drop off at DE I would think. But the Griffin and Quarles kids are both 4* DT's.

Even if you were correct though, Missouri is destroying whatever respect I used to have for recruiting rankings. Their average class rank for the last 5 years is around 32.

I wouldn't talk about the D-Line like that

Dec 3, 2013, 9:22 AM

SC has the overall top DE in the country, Blackshear, coming in 2015. Arden Key is the 3rd ranked DE in the country for 2015, and although he decommitted, SC is still high on his list.

Also, Dukes was a 4* and so was Griffin, so not really sure where you're getting your numbers.

"wait till next year" post. That used to be one of the favorite slams against SC fans in the good ole daya.

Amazing how Clowney went from a lazy, no talent bum to the end of the SC program within three days.

Spurrier has yet to beat a team that spends more than he dose and has more special admission players. Inact he has that advantage on everybody he plays.Thisyear he lost to the 2 teams that had those 2 advantages over him

Really, who hasn't he beaten? You said he hasn't so name the schools or are you just making this stuff up?

Since I know that is not the case, name the schools.

As much as I hate to say it,

SCar is not that good, but the hard part to face is that we are not as good as we think we are. We squeaked by GA, barely beat BC, got dissembled by FSU, and embarrassed by SCar. All of those blowout wins against weak teams made us believe we are better than we really are. This has nothing to do with how much we love Clemson, it is coming face-to-face with reality of our football program.
