In honor of a post by @Tropical, let's talk about which pregame biscuit is best.

I can't understate the importance of this decision - the biscuit you eat this weekend before the high noon kickoff will start your Gameday off right. Gimme a rundown of what you'll be scarfin' and why. No shame in your decision as long as you aren't eating some kinda chia-dusted cream of wheat with a kale shake - don't bring that junk into this thread...
Go Tigers!

A little butter and salted pork is clinically proven to lift the mood when you has the sad. Lay aside that stuff that only pleases the physiologic self and embrace that which will satisfy to the depth of the soul - dem bizkitz.

My ol' trusty is 2 Hardee's sausage, egg, & cheese, BUT some locations overcook their biscuits, so you need to be careful there. Bojangles is every bit as good, especially if your Hardee's biscuitmaker gets a little oven-happy.

I used to prefer Hardee's, then Bojangles, but I have to say that McDonald's makes a pretty mean sausage and egg biscuit. Buttery and soft. Man, I can't wait! NOONER!

I'm actually pretty committed to the 2 for $3.33 saus/egg/chz McMuffin thing at least one morning a week - great flavor, little lighter than a biscuit.

Dang Rocky, I think I'll file that away as a top candidate for my last meal on death row...I think I'd die happy on the business end of that biscuit!
My all-time epic biscuit creation (I was in high school, mind you) was a Hardee's monster biscuit that I requested to be covered in sausage gravy and served on a platter. Ah, youth.

Grandma's biscuits second to none. My wife's mother is

from Easley and obviously our kid's Grandma. She is a wonderful southern cook.
Start with home baked biscuits made with White Lilly flour - no other flour will do.
Main breakfast biscuit fixin's - Tennessee Pride sausage and gravy OR country ham OR bacon fried in a black iron skillet with a slice of home grown tomatoe.
Fresh biscuit and bacon aroma wets the appetite.
Homemade preserves on the second or third biscuit - could be peach, pear, apple butter, blackberry or even muscadine.
Fresh Coffee ....

White Lily biscuits are a direct expression of the grace of God to His children. Lawdy mercy them thangs are guuud.
If your MIL could set up some of that fine southern culinary flair at a pregame tailgate, she needs to have a full write-up in Clemson World magazine or somethin. #tailgateforthewin

Frankly, I'm shocked no one in this thread has suggested a ChickFilA biscuit. My wife surmises that in a female-majority message board, ChickFilA would be the top suggestion. I love em sho nuff, but not like Hearty Hardee's...

Mah brotha - Neese's livermush from NC with a little mustard makes a truly compelling biscuit. Livermush is such a polarizing breakfast meat, but it's pretty healthy relative to sausage or bacon. If someone doesn't like it, I'll just eat their helping...

or McDonalds on the way to work 5 days a week (two Hardees and two McDonalds, depending on route I take), biscuit quality is definitely dependent on the cook and the day. Overall, and I hate to say it, but here in my town, McD's on average makes a better biscuit. But, their potato hash rounds are almost total grease. Ain't none of it good for ye' anyway, so eat up and get ready for thunder in the Valley. (And a football game.)

Here's some uncharted territory:
What if I told you one of the finest fast food breakfast experiences in all the land can be enjoyed at your friendly neighborhood...Burger King?!? That 2 for $4 saus/egg/chz croissanwich deal is a bang-up breakfast. If you're tired of getting burned by overdone biscuits at Hardee's, I would encourage you to do your due diligence and glut yo' gut on a mighty fine biscuit alternative. No question a couple of those would have you READY for gameday, fellers.
