He probably needs a glycerin suppository . Since he's " SEC " , better pop 2 .

That's a different kind of enlightenment , but no less effective .

That is perfect. We have been 5.5 to 6.5 dogs in all 3 past

Championship games. And if not for a blasted onside kick, would have won all three....

Plus look at that first CFB. Oregon wins big over FSU (similar to LSU over Chokelahoma) and then favored in the final. Ohio State has a tough game against Bama. Look who wins. Weird, huh?

Also the Over/Under result for our Cotton Bowl against Notre Dame is incorrect. It was Under.

In all of the playoff games we’ve played in, we’ve only been favored in 2

The Notre Dame game last year, and this years Ohio State game. We’ve been dogs in ALL the rest.

That was interesting. Bama is the only favored team to win the Natty. Bama won it twice as a favorite and lost it twice as a favorite.

Both times Bama won as the favorite, they did not cover the spread.

Clemson -10.5 (58) Clemson 30 Notre Dame 3 Favorite-Over

33 total is NOT Over 58.

Help me understand the chart...

Jan 5, 2020, 9:16 PM [ in reply to Maybe this is what you are looking for . . . ]

It seems the "over/under" is based on total points but the 2018-2019 Clemson/ND game shows "Favorite-Over" but the O/U was 58 and points were 33. I must be missing something...

Go Tigers!!!

Going back to the 2015 Orange Bowl, Clemson was a 3.5-point underdog when it drilled Oklahoma 37-17 to capture the first playoff win in school history. The Tigers went on to lose, 45-40, to Alabama, which was favored by 6, in the national championship game in Glendale, Ariz.

In 2016, Clemson was a 1-point underdog to Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl, but the Tigers blasted the Buckeyes, 31-0. They followed that up by defeating Alabama 35-31 as a 6.5-point underdog in the national title game in Tampa, Florida.

Alabama got revenge as a 3.5-point favorite in the 2017 Sugar Bowl with a 24-6 victory in New Orleans.

The Tigers then won their third national championship in school history by defeating the Crimson Tide, 44-16, despite being a 5-point underdog in Santa Clara, Calif., a year ago

Durn, Spud. Why you want to know that? Tell your sec friend to “ chill” ( did I do that right?). Spud, are you old enough to remember Howdy Doody? Bud does but he didn’t have a tv until 7th grade.
