Several years back I saw the program turning under coach Swinney. I even had to convince some friends he was the right man for the job after losing 5 straight to the coots. I envisioned the program reaching the point where we could compete for the ACC title every year and (if everything lined up just right) possibly make a run at a national title once or twice during Dabo's tenure. I'm glad Dabo dreams bigger than I do!
If anybody who sat in those half empty stands like I did in '98 says they even though what's happening now was even a possibility, they're lying!
