Dabo Swinney is not going to embarrass another team by letting DeShaun stay in a runaway game to just create outrageous statistics. Not gonna happen. Like in the Coot, WF, Syracuse, Boston College, SC State games.
Only saw Jackson in two games this year CU's & NCSt. They beat NC State 54 - 13 and Jackson was in the game with 5 minutes to go. I know. Saw that with my own eyes. Imagine Watson's numbers if he'd had been in there padding his numbers.
Just sayin'.

I've watched most of Louisvilles games this year and they don't pull lamar til midway through 4th quarter. It doesn't matter if they are up by 35 points halfway through the 3rd...they keep him in.
Honestly i'm going to be disgusted if Lamar wins. All it does is show that to win the Heisman schedule a bunch of garbage teams and keep your best player on the field the whole game to pad stats. It's ridiculous.

You are correct in saying lameer did stay in the games until the 4th qtr. in most games. I got one for you - He played the entire Cuse game 62-28. Also it was 49-0 in the opener w charlotte (first half) Louisville back gets tackled at the 1 yrd line. what does pitiful petro do? He calls a timeout and lets lameer throw a 1 yrd td to the H-back to make it 56-0 at half. Now, would Dabo had EVER done that to sc state? He(( No - he shortens the game. Think lameer ran ~200 yrds on 21 carries that game. I ask, how many yrds and td's does DW4 get if he carries the ball 21 times against sc state.
Cannot believe media didn't pick up on this point.

Oh - forgot the MOST important stat of the Charlotte game when petro called TO - it was 9 SECONDS left in the half !!!! 49-0 at that point. back gets tackled at the 1 just let time run out. come on...

That in and of itself should eliminate him from consideration. He put up some impressive numbers but clearly did so against some fairly weak competition.

And not only is LJax in the game w 5 minutes left... Petrino is still running play action 50 yd post routes every other play. Total Joke.
Its sad, but I think that's what you have to do to win the Hiesman and put up these video game numbers.
